Remaining Novice Rehearsals

  • Friday, March 21 | 5:00pm – 5:45pm – bring costumes

  • Friday, March 28 | 5:00pm – 5:45pm (costumes TBD) – last rehearsal of the season


Any dancers that take regular studio classes on Saturdays will not be able to attend their regularly scheduled class on Saturday, March 29 – as you will need to be at competition. Please ask/email Allyson if you would like a make-up class suggestion.

Venue Information

Parking at this venue is free in the lots located adjacent to the school. For those that want to watch from home, livestream is available for this event. Livestream can be found on the Headliners Dance Competition website :: https://headlinersdance.com/live/

Competition Information:

All dancers should arrive at the venue NO LATER than 8:00am on Saturday, March 29 with hair done and make-up mostly done. If you need help with hair or make-up, please come when doors open at 7:15am and a CSDA staff member can help you.

  • You can put your costume on once you arrive. 

  • Competitions can run hours ahead of schedule and we do not want anyone rushing to get onstage or missing their call time.

  • Competitions do not wait for dancers – any group that doesn’t have all group members for their scheduled time could be disqualified.

Saturday, March 29 | Competition Schedule: 

  • Entry #137 Singing In The Bathtub | 10:18 AM (this is an approximate performance time) – please arrive for 8:00am

 AWARDS – 12:15 PM

Dancers should stay in between their routine and awards. All Novice dancers will be free to leave after the awards ceremony which should end around 1pm.

Competition Packing/Check List

Please make sure to bring the following items to the Competition

  • Your dancers costume, which included:

    • Towel

    • Leotard

    • Headpiece

    • Tap shoes (slippers).

  • New Dark Tan, Revolution Body Tights (we have some behind the desk if needed).

    • These are the same color and brand of body tights that we use in recital.

  • HairLow Bun, Center Part

  • Make-Up should be very similar to how you would do for recital/showcase:

  • If you have a CSDA dance jacket, please bring that for awards or any other CSDA gear to wear onstage. We suggest bringing jazz shoes or sneakers to dancers can use those to warm-up.

Please make sure you pack the things that you need so you can take care of yourself. If you have any questions, please let us know!
