preseason - october 2026 Schedule

Preseason Classes & Holiday Show Rehearsals

  • August 25 & 27 - 5:30-7:30PM

  • September 1, 3, 8, 10 - 5:30-7:30PM

Saturday September 12

  • 9:00-11:30 - Warm up and Grotonfest rehearsal 

    • ***Those dancers new to Company this year do not need to attend this rehearsal.  Our Grotonfest performance consists of routines from last year's competitive season.

  • 11:30-12:00 - Lunch break/ costumes and make-up 

  • 12:00-2:00 - Film Company Holiday dances - Full Company

Saturday September 19

  • 9:00-11:30 - Warm up and Grotonfest rehearsal

    • Dress Rehearsal - Bring costumes

  • 11:30-12:00 - Lunch break / costumes and make-up

  • 12:00-2:00- Film first act scenes and Nutcracker scenes

  • 9:45-12:00 - Full company rehearsal and Production

  • Columbus Day - No Rehearsals

  •  First A-week

    • All A-week and weekly rehearsals (Orange Ballet and Green Modern) begin this week
