2023 Summer Registration Is Open!

We are excited to announce that summer classes & camp registration is now open! Make sure you reserve a spot for your dancer.

Class size is limited and summer registration closes on Friday, June 30.

We offer dance camps and classes for all ages (2 & up) in many levels and styles! We have everything from daytime themed camps to weekly classes, summer intensives, evening classes and more! To register for our summer classes, you may do so directly in your Parent Portal or email us and we can place you in the class of your choice.

Dress Rehearsal &
Picture Day Schedule

Dress Rehearsal & Picture Day are right around the corner! Join us Saturday, May 13 for all dancers that are participating in our spring 2023 recital performances. Please click the link below to open the dress rehearsal/picture day schedule - when you open the schedule you will find a photo of your dancer’s costume, their weekly class day/time and a class roster so you can be sure you come for the correct time. Your rehearsal time is listed in red on the schedule (above the danc costume photo) this is the time they will be onstage. Please arrive for your dancers first scheduled time about 15-20 minutes early, dressed and ready in their first costume. We are running on a very tight timetable and are unable to wait for you if your dancer is late.

Picture Day is the same day and location as Dress Rehearsal!

Please come through the main entrance of the school, the auditorium is the first door on your left (blue door). We will collect all dancers for their onstage rehearsal in the auditorium.

Dress Rehearsal Information:
All dancers that are participating in the recital will need to come to dress rehearsal on Saturday, May 13. Dress rehearsal is held at the Groton-Dunstable Performing Arts Center, which is our recital performance venue. Each class will get time on-stage with their instructor to practice the number in their recital costume. If your dancer is in more than one number, time will be given to change in between numbers. We have bathrooms and designated areas for dancers to change.

What Should You Bring To Dress Rehearsal?:
Please bring all your dance costumes, tights and dance shoes for each routine/class your dancer is in. Your child must be brought to the auditorium completely dressed and ready for their first number (as listed in the dress rehearsal schedule.) If your dancer is in more than one number, please have ALL of their other costumes - on hangers - and also a dance bag with all of their dance shoes. Please label all items with your dancer’s name! We know that you may have questions about costumes and headpieces. We will answer all these questions during dress rehearsal. Please be aware that no food or drink will be allowed in the auditorium at any time. Video cameras or any recording devices are prohibited.  Pictures may be taken with a camera—by parents only. A CSDA staff member/teacher will indicate when photography can be taken during rehearsal.  

Please let us know, via email, if you have any questions or you'll dancer will not be able to attend dress rehearsal for any reason.

Additional Picture Day Information:

Please bring your dancer to the auditorium FIRST for their onstage dress rehearsal. Your dancer will rehearse their number onstage (during their designated rehearsal time) and then be taken directly to the photography set (located in the cafeteria of the venue) to take their class group/individial photos. This year our recital photographer has gone paperless! Here’s a note from our photographer :

“C3 is so excited to be capturing your 2023 dance photos. We are now paperless and your experience with us will all be done from your phone! This will take away from the long lines and feeling rushed to place an order.

The way it works is that we will create a private online gallery for each dancer. We will send you an email containing your Dancers Access code, and information to opt-in for SMS notifications. During picture day we'll take all the photos (groups and individual/siblings) and within two weeks. If you opt-in for SMS notification you'll get a text to view your dancers images when they are ready as well.

This program does face recognition and will make sure to show you all the images that your dancer will be in. This means if you have multiple costumes, or siblings we'll get them to you to view.

Ordering is done when you log in with the Access Code (which will be emailed to you). You can pick any package or digitals and mix and match the packages as well.

We have included a youtube video to show you what to expect (see button below).”

 ***If your dancer is in multiple numbers, we have tried our best to space out the routines so that you can take individual photos during your class time slot. However, we will need your dancer to be ready in their next costume, by their schedule’s rehearsal time. Please note – you can get individual photographs taken, in any costume, at any point during the day. You do not need to rush individual/sibling photos – the photographer will be there until 8PM and can take photos at any point during the day.

A lunch break will be taken from 1pm – 1:30pm.
No photos will be taken during that time.

Recital Ticket Day
Friday, April 28

Recital Ticket Day will be Friday, April 28 beginning at 4:00PM. Tickets will be sold ONLINE ONLY for all three shows. A ticket must be purchased for everyone attending the show— this includes family members in wheelchairs, very small children and infants — every person in the auditorium must be accounted for an have their own seat in accordance with our venue and fire laws. We currently do not have any restrictions or maximums on the number of tickets families can purchase, per show. We will be sending out a detailed email on ticket day via email, shortly. 

Online ticket purchasing will be available right up until your dancers showtime — ticket sales will close at the start of showtime. Tickets will not be available at the door - they will only be available to be purchased online. We will have a QR Code available when entering if you need to use this to purchase while at the recital venue (prior to showtime). Please remember that any outstanding fees including April tuition, fees MUST BE PAID by Friday, April 28 in order to purchase tickets and for your child to participate in recital. You will be unable to order tickets if you have an outstanding balance and will not receive access to the website.

Recital Volunteers Needed!

We are always looking for backstage volunteers to help us during the shows. Please know if you volunteer for a recital time, you will be unable to watch that recital performance from the audience.

2023 Recital Information

Mark your calendars! Our 2023 Recital performance will be held the weekend of Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21 at our venue, the Groton-Dunstable Performing Arts Center. Dress Rehearsal and Picture Day will be held for all dancers on Saturday, May 13 at the same venue.

We will be having 3 recital performances during our recital weekend. Most dancers will only be performing in one show. Recital Showtimes are:

Recital Practice Videos

Recital dances have been started and are mostly finished in all classes! Attendance is very important for our dancers to be ready for their performance. Outside practice is always encouraged for all dancers - please try to have your dancer practice his/her steps at home so they will remember them when they come to class. Additionally, please make every effort to attend all classes so that your dancer will not fall behind. We are OPEN for all classes during April School Vacation.

To make practicing at home easier - we have created this page! Using the link below we have created a page full of dancers class(es) practice videos for our 2023 Recital. Please note, not all classes will be posted weekly - your dancers teacher will post practice videos as needed. Classes will be updated as they become available. For younger dancers - we will post videos of your teacher/assistant doing the completed dance, once they complete the choreography in classes. This will happen closer to the end of April.

Recital Music

In addition to recital practice videos we also have our recital music available for dancers to practice with. Recital music is listed by the day of the week your dancer takes class. If you do not see your dancers class music - it is coming! Our teachers are continue to finalize their music and will be uploaded as soon as possible to allow for practicing at home! Please do not share the password with anyone outside of the studio - this is due to copyright issues. Also, our teachers spend hours cutting this music and adjusting speeds/tempos to fit the style and level of each dance - so, please do not share.

Jacket Shipping: To save on shipping costs - jackets will be shipping directly to the studio. Once they arrive, you will be notified and we will schedule a pickup time that works best for you. Items can not be guaranteed by recital, but our vendor is going to work with us as best they can to have them delivered by our recital dates. Deadline to order is Friday, April 21. As these are custom jackets all merchandise sales are final. There are no refunds, returns or exchanges.

Jacket Sizing: We do not have sample jackets available to the studio this year, however, we advise that dancers who want a more fitted jacket - order their true size. Most dancers like the jacket to run larger or oversized - if you would like your dancer to grow into it, we suggest going one size up.

2. You will see a confirmation screen if your order was submitted successfully.

3. Once your order is reviewed, you will receive an invoice, via email, with your total amount due.

4. Pay for your order in one of two ways: Venmo to @Kristine-Oldenburg or bring a check to Dress Rehearsal on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Groton-Dunstable Performing Arts Center. Please make checks payable to Dance Company Boosters.

Dress Rehearsal Extras

Dance Company Table Talk – With Abbie (Riley & Lily’s Mom)

If you’ve been into the studio, chances are you have meet or seen Abbie. Not only is she a Dance Company/Booster mom to Riley and Lily – current Dance Company members – but she is a CSDA alumni, former faculty, Dance Company member and so much more. If you are interested in learning more about joining our Dance Company for the 2023-2024 – stop by and see Abbie in the lobby. She will have a table set up – and no questions is too big or small!

Lunch/Snacks/Water

The Boosters will also be offering lunch, snacks and waters throughout the day at Dress Rehearsal available for purchase at their table. No food or drink can be brought into the auditorium or dressing areas – but you can have lunch/snacks in the lobby area.

Studio Spirit Week

Join us for Studio Spirit Week - Saturday, May 13 through Friday, May 19. As our season comes to a close we want to celebrate all our dancers with a fun and festive week - Studio Spirit Week! Each day during our last week of classes has a different theme that we would love for your dancers to participate in. If you don't want to follow the exact theme, please feel free to dress in our studio colors (maroon, navy blue and white) or wear your recital t-shirt to class. Themes will be announced and emailed shortly!

Participation isn't mandatory, but we think this will be a really fun ending to this unique season! Some prizes, fun and games will be had in all classes - and of course, practicing for our recital performances.
