The studio will be closed from Wednesday, December 21 through Tuesday, January 3 for the holiday break. We will resume regular classes on Wednesday, January 4. Please click below for our full studio calendar.

Holiday Show Filming Week

Monday, December 5 - Saturday, December 10

Our Holiday Show filming week is almost here! Filming week is Monday, December 5 – Saturday, December 10 during regular class time. In order to be featured in the performance, your dancer must attend their dance class during the week of filming – we are unable to do make-ups for filming day. 

What Does My Dancer Need?

We try to make the Holiday Show as fun and easy as possible on the dancers and parents. Costumes will be provided by the studio and will be given to dancers the day they film. Only a few classes have been emailed and asked to bring a clothing item from home - Monday, Preteen Jazz, Monday Advanced Ballet and Wednesday, Int/Adv Hip Hop.

Helpful Reminders

• We ask that all our male dancers wear black pants or black shorts to filming week.

• Hair up in a bun. For shorter hair please have it up and away from the face. Our staff and assistants are great at buns - please ask if you need assistance :)

• Make-up is not required, but dancers can wear make-up for filming if they would like

• Please wear your pink/tan tights - no black tights for filming week. We have tights behind the desk in all sizes - ask us if you need to purchase any

• Don't forget your dance shoes!

• If your dancer has a thinner-strapped leotard - please wear that one - otherwise we will do our best to tuck them in with costumes

• Costumes will be provided by the studio and will be given to dancers the day they film 

About The Show

All of our dancers will appear in at least one of our virtual Holiday Show performance routines. Some dancers may appear in more routines, due to the classes they take. Please note, most dancers will appear in only ONE number during this performance – even if they take multiple classes at the studio. We've selected a handful of classes to keep the performance shorter in length - but all dancers will be featured in at least one of their classes.

How To Watch The Show

For those of you who purchased tickets to the movie premiere at Chunky’s on Thursday, December 22 in Nashua, NH – we can’t wait to see you there - this event is now sold out.

If you are unable to make it to the movie premiere, everyone in the studio will receive a link, via email, so they can watch the show from home beginning Friday, December 23 at 12pm through Monday, December 26. The link will only be live for those 4 days. After that, you are able to purchase the video to keep forever as a digital download!  

We are excited to once again, provide a holiday show performance for the entire studio. Thank you for continuing to support our studio – we can’t wait for you to see this performance starring your dancer!

We are so excited to reveal our 2022 Centerstage merchandise - now available for the holiday season! We have many clothing options available in toddler, youth and adults sizes. Items include t-shirts, sweatshirts, joggers, hats, stickers and more! All of our items are made-to-order and we can not guaranteed shipping before Christmas. Shipping details are outlined when you check out and typically takes between 7-11 days. It is advised to order by Saturday, December 10 to arrive before the holidays. Items below will be shipped directly to your homes. All Centerstage Dance Academy merchandise is final sale. There is no refunds, returns or exchanges.

Rhinestone CSDA Jackets

Back by popular demand, we have our rhinestone fitness jackets with dancers name on the front for personalization. Please use the link below to shop for the rhinestone jackets as the come from a separate vendor.

Shipping: To save on shipping costs - jackets will be shipping directly to the studio. Once they arrive, you will be notified and we will schedule a pickup time that works best for you. Items can not be guaranteed by Christmas - but our vendors are working hard to try and have items arrive before the holidays! As these are custom jackets all merchandise sales are final. There is no refunds, returns or exchanges.

Sizing: We do not have sample jackets available to the studio this year, however, we advise that dancers who want a more fitted jacket - order their true size. Most dancers like the jacket to run larger or oversized - if you would like your dancer to grow into it, we suggest going one size up.

CSDA Dance Company Boosters Christmas Orders

As you may have seen in the studio, our Dance Company Boosters (who are a wonderful group of Dance Company moms) are offering some amazing holiday gifts for your dancers.

Dance Company Boosters is excited to offer many ways for family and friends to celebrate the dancers of Centerstage Dance Academy during the holidays. Gifts include Nutcrackers, personalized dancer ornaments and raffle tickets can be purchased for our beautiful custom tree “Clara’s Dream” that will be on display at the studio beginning this week.

New Classes In The New Year!

 We have two new classes that will begin in January and we want to make sure everyone knows about them. These are both limited sessions on Tuesdays that will run in 6-week sessions starting Tuesday, January 10.

Shining Stars Class

• Dancers Ages 2-3

• Tuesdays, from 4pm – 4:30pm

• $125 for the 6-week session

• Current families, register on your Parent Portal

• Want to bring a friend? New students can register here

Shining Stars is a great class for any of our beginner ballerina’s who want to get started with a dance class. In this 30-minute class your child will have fun learning to dance through the use of props, song and creative movement. This is our winter session. We have another spring session that will begin in March.

Adult Class | 6-Week Session

• Adult jazz class for ages 18 & Up

• Tuesdays | 7:30pm - 8:15pm

• $20 drop-in rate or $75 for 4-classes, $125 for 6-classes

• Experience is required, but this will be at a beginner/intermediate level

We are also announcing – back by popular demand – our adult classes of the season taught by Kathy! These classes may be taken on a drop-in basis or your may purchase a discounted 4-class rate or 6-class rate. Additional information and how to register can be found here on our website.

Recital Costume Reminders
Costume Balances
January 2023

Recital costume selections have been finalized and ordered for our spring performance! Pictures of the dancers’ costumes will be available to view after the holiday break - we will email you a link to our digital costume book with photos of your dancers costume as well as information on tights and shoes for each class!

All remaining costume balances will be added to your dancer’s January tuition. If you are an auto-pay customer, your costume balances will be withdrawn with your regular tuition payment on Thursday, January 5. All costume balances must be received by Sunday, January 15. If your costume deposit is not paid in full by it will be automatically withdrawn using the credit card on file, per our tuition policy, on Monday, January 16. If payment is not received, or is declined by the deadline, a costume will not be given to your dancer until payment has been made in full.

As a reminder, if you dancer is participating in 2023 recital, they are required to purchase a costume for the performance. If you commit to participating in the Recital, you are required to pay the full balance of your costume - this includes the costume deposit and full costume balance.  By paying your costume deposit in November, you agreed to order a dance costume for the spring 2023 recital and will be required to pay the full balance of the costume in January 2023. We cannot make any exceptions.

2023 Recital Information

Mark your calendars! Our 2023 Recital performance will be held the weekend of Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21 at our venue, the Groton-Dunstable Performing Arts Center. Dress Rehearsal will be held for all dancers on Saturday, May 13. Additional information will be added about our performance as the dates get closer. We have all available details listed in the link below including information about our recital package for all students and which show your dancer will be performing in.

Snow Days

If a class needs to be canceled due to inclement weather, a cancellation notice will be emailed/texted (if opted-in) to all families by 12:30PM that day. Makeup class are offered for all cancelled classes.  Please email the studio for the appropriate dates and times for a make-up class - credits will not be issued.  ZOOM classes may be had if classes experience multiple snow days during the year. Please note: just because school is closed does not mean the studio will be closed.
